James Harrison to visit Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals continue to sniff around for former Pittsburgh Steelers.
One week after attempting to lure defensive lineman Brett Keisel to the desert, the team will host pass rusher James Harrison on Wednesday, the player's agent told NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport.
Harrison, 36, spent last season with the Bengals, generating two sacks over 10 starts while grading out as the NFL's 11th-ranked 4-3 outside linebacker. Joining the Cardinals would allow him to return to his more natural position on the outside in a 3-4 scheme under coordinator Todd Bowles.
Knowing Harrison well from their days together in Pittsburgh, coach Bruce Arians is looking for difference-makers to join Arizona's depleted defense. Last year's edgy unit has lost defensive end Darnell Dockett to a season-ending knee injuryand inside linebacker Daryl Washington to a year-long suspension. With Karlos Dansby leaving for Cleveland and John Abraham just returning from a long summer hiatus, the Cardinals' D threatens to take a major step back in 2014.
Harrison made it clear this offseason that he wanted to return to the Steelers, but with Pittsburgh showing no tangible interest, Arians is giving the former Defensive Player of the Year one more shot to keep his NFL career alive.
